Updated Wishlist, Pre-2013

With a big Christmas as usual, I was able to get quite a lot of goodies from my previous wishlist. Things I got for Christmas includes...
  • 1 TB External Harddrive
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising
  • Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy
  • Kirby's Return to Dreamland
  • And a few other goodies outside my wishlist.
    • $10 League of Legends card for Riot Points
    • Desktop water fountain
    • Toothbrush... ?
    • 3DS car charger + case, and more.
The water fountain was something that used to be in my wishlist from about 5 years ago, when I was in college. I took it out from the wishlist due to how little room I have on my desk here, and how I thought any water fountain I would want would be too big. However, the water fountain I got is fairly compact. The only issue I have with it is that it didn't come with an adapter, so I'm currently using it with 2 AA batteries. I'll see how long the batteries will last me, but eventually, I'd like to get an adapter for it.

Also, Vicki got a Wii Motion Plus controller, so that will also be marked off from this wishlist as well.

Super Crimboman Crimbo Type

I'm working on the new Crimbo content right now. Figure I'd give the answers to the giant robot fight, which I have to say has some pretty amazing writing. If you'd rather figure out the solution yourself though, that's fine too. This just helps for those of you who haven't finished collecting all the plastic ingots and electrical thingamabobs so you don't have to waste any adventures trying to figure out what to do.

Holiday Backlog - Pre-2013

Merry Christmas!

It's the holiday season again, and although I haven't been able to cover all the holiday events that's been going on in several online games I play, I hope everyone is able to get what they want to achieve in them. Considering it's been a while since I've last done a Backlog, with new games to add to the list once again, I decided I should sort out this list to make it easier to see what games I need to work on, what I have available, and what I've finished that I haven't reviewed yet.

Not the most interesting post for my readers probably, but it helps me out a lot to do this. I'm sorry I couldn't do something bigger for Christmas though. >_> Plans have been falling through an awful lot when it came down to relying on others to helping me. Hopefully I can get the help I want when the time comes, or that I get plenty of time and inspiration to work on what I want done by myself.

Review - New Super Mario Bros. 2

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is the sequel to the Nintendo DS's New Super Mario Bros. and Nintendo Wii's New Super Mario Bros. Wii... obviously. What did Nintendo do to make New Super Mario Bros. 2 a new experience from that of the other two games, and how does it fare as a game on its own?

Portable Devices for Home or Going Out?

I own several portable devices, and they've got me thinking about what makes them good as a portable device. What makes them better than others, and how are they better? Ease of portability, convenience, or even the available software for each device are viable reasons for which device is better, but I noticed something with my smartphone and Nintendo 3DS. It's the additional features based around going out that gives it its edge over other portable devices that gets me to take them over the other devices I own.

Review - Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

The sequel to the first game that I reviewed on this blog, 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, is finally out. Does Virtue's Last Reward live up to the grand story telling of 999, or does it fall short in achieving the quality that the first game offered? Most of all, is this game right for you? Read on to hear my thoughts on the game, now that I have finished it. Of course, my reviews are spoiler free, so read on safely.

Nintendo World Store - Street Pass Heaven

Now that I'm back from my trip to NJ and NY, I have to point out how I arrived at my parents' house on the night of the Wii U launch, and had missed out on the Wii U Launch Party at the Nintendo World Store they had at midnight. It's too bad I missed out on seeing Reggie of Nintendo of America in person. It would have been awesome if I could have street passed with everyone there as well, but when I visited during the day, there were still quite a lot of people there buying Wii Us among other things. During then, I was able to get quite a few street passes which certainly gave me a nice boost in my Mii Parade that I had started not even a month ago at the time.

Home, Sweet, Unfamiliar Home

I've been meaning to post this since the 17th when I arrived here in New Jersey by train that I am on vacation for Thanksgiving, a friend's wedding, and my birthday. Unfortunately, the train did not have its own Wi-Fi, and I've been much busier than when I was busy down in Florida as well, so I haven't really had much time to make a post, nor even keep up with my daily routines either. This post will also be fairly brief since it looks like I will be just as busy throughout the rest of the vacation.

I just wanted to point out that I got to see a couple of my friends, namely Solomon, Phoenik, Steven, Anup, and Josh and had a fun time on my birthday. Briefly listing things that we did include visiting my old house, eating pizza at Big Jim's Pizzeria that I worked at, went to play billiards at Imperial Pool, played some games at Dave & Buster's, and ate at a Johnny Rocket's. Hopefully I'll be able to see more of my friends at the wedding or even before that, since I will be heading back down to Florida again. I feel like I could get better used to how things are here in NJ though.

Before then, we also visited New York of course on the 18th, and visited many places. Among them was the Nintendo World Store, although we missed out on the Wii U launch party. Got many street passes there on our 3DS though of course. Plenty of other places as well, but my FourSquare check ins can tell us better where I went at this point. The less interesting things we did are mostly shopping for clothes and going to the dentist's.

Well, that'll be all for now until I get back from my vacation. Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Mind Occupancy

Lately, to keep my mind busy, I've been pushing myself harder to play video games more than usual whenever I catch myself with even a few minutes of open time. During this time, I've actually gotten some time to play Star Ocean: The Last Hope, practiced a bit in Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, checked out Waveform on Steam, and started Virtue's Last Reward on the 3DS.

Eternal Sleep Close to Home

I really didn't think I'd be digging a third burial ground any time soon. At least, not this soon, right after burying the goldfishes from the carnival. I decided against burying Firion next to the goldfishes though, since he simply deserved better than the spot I had originally chosen for them. They were buried at the side of the house, behind the fence where you'd have to walk all around the house to get to. No one ever goes there, except a bunch of cats apparently, to use as their litter box because I saw so many cat turds there, which is what deterred me from burying Firion there. Instead, I chose in front of the house, next to a tree that I can see from the window here in this room where Firion and I spent the most time in. I already feel much better knowing that his burial site is where I can see from here.

Changing Trademarks

I've always been known to wear a blue jacket, sort of like a trademark. I wore it regardless of the season, even in Florida's hot, summer days. The reason why I wore it was mostly for my own protection and convenience. I generally dislike sunlight, not that I'm being all vampire or anything, but wearing it protected me against the heat, often times retaining the cooler temperatures from air conditioned rooms, providing better comfort in short terms. During the night, I primarily wear it to protect myself from bugs, mainly mosquitoes. Considering how I always wear a t-shirt, again regardless of the season, the jacket protected my arms from exposure to both threats. Even aside from these protections, I also use my jackets for carrying many items inside its pockets. Everything aside from my cell phone and either another handheld device or a wallet goes in my jacket, while the most handy things go in my pants pocket. Protection, utility convenience, comfort, and fashionably(?) donning my favorite color of blue, I can honestly say that I love this jacket.

The Silent Desk

The past few months have been awfully eventful in my life. Perhaps too eventful. I had barely been able to keep up with this site due to having two jobs, and Herschel has left us late October. It was a horribly short life that it lived, much like the other two goldfish. Despite my experience and confidence in being able to keep the goldfish, the lack of cooperation of the members of this household has had me delay my plans for getting a better living quarter for Herschel until it was too late. It was an unfortunate loss...

However, it didn't occur to me that Herschel wasn't the only one in need of attention...

Slashing Off From the Wishlist

Now that I've had two jobs, I actually have some spending money! With how neatly I've laid out what things I want/need on my wishlist, it certainly was easy deciding on what I should spend them on. A Nintendo 3DS! ... Also sweatbands.

It's about time I finally got one, and honestly, I should've had one much earlier anyway, if only I had a job to help fund it then. I may have missed out on the Ambassador Program and several other special offers for early 3DS owners, but it is certainly a neat device and I am looking forward to the entertainment that I will enjoy with it.

Back to a Crawl

It's been over 4 months already since my last progress report on my usual video game posts, and for a good reason for a change. For those of you who haven't heard, I've got myself 2 jobs in the past month. So... there really isn't much of a progress to report, honestly. More-so, I'm reporting my lack of progress if anything, which sort of disappoints myself in my lack of ability to manage time as well as I'd like to squeeze in more activities. Regardless, here are some of the things that I HAVE been doing.

How U Mine 4 Fish?

A few days ago, Vicki dragged me to a carnival when I was still tired from work, and had work the next morning as well. You already know how THAT is. But what's more, I found out that she is awfully loose with her money if she knows she has money. That rule also extends to money that isn't her's as well. Why? Because her friend Jamie wanted to play one of the carnival games where you try to throw table tennis balls into jars to win a goldfish, and despite my objections to winning a goldfish that I would have to get a tank, air pump, and filter for to take care of properly, she had me give her a dollar, a grown woman who's older than me and has had a job (albeit a low paying one) for a very long time, just because I would be the one keeping (and ultimately stuck with the responsibilities of) the fish. Well, guess what? I won a fish.

Filling in Schedule Gaps

So I don't understand what it is with most work places requiring at least SOME sort of job experience. I had just recently gotten my job at Benton Express through Infiniti Employment Agency here in Orlando, Florida, but I got another call from Halloween City that I applied at in-store, as they were opening, around the same time I applied at Infiniti. They had me come in for a job interview since they were going to hire more people after having hired their initial few people, and having told them that I have been working at Benton Express for a month, I managed to get myself a job at Halloween City as well, albeit it's still a temporary job.

Having a job: A Blessing or a Curse?

It's been about a month since I've started working at Benton Express for Infiniti, and learned quite a lot about myself. I'm definitely hard working, take pride in the quality of work I do, and a good team supporter. It just seems to be the kind of worker I am. However, I have also experienced my limits at a warehousing job at a Ross warehouse, albeit I was horribly unprepared.

The day before working at the Ross warehouse, I was doing a more strength-based work at Benton, unloading all the boxes from the truck trailer. It is much more physically demanding than the other positions at Benton, and I was feeling a bit sore after that. After I got home, I wanted to rest, but Vicki dragged me out to her usual volunteering at PetSmart, then to a birthday party immediately after. That's pretty much my entire day outside of home, keeping me from doing my daily routines as well as from blogging like I am now. This kind of thing happens nearly every weekend now, which is why my posts have been intermittent lately.

Amazon App Store

For those of you that uses Android phones, you might want to consider getting the Amazon Appstore App. Amazon Appstore provides an app a day that normally costs money for free.

This will definitely help me check out and review some of the pay apps that are available. It'd be nice if I can do some express reviews so that I can release them while the app is still available for free on Amazon Appstore, but given how my schedule seems too full for me to even make my usual updates on the blog, I don't think it'll happen very often. I'll see what I can do though, for ones that I highly recommend.

Deity Wars - Kujata Leveling

Deity Wars has a good deal of focus on leveling up cards to become successful. However, the resources required in leveling up can be precious at times, so you want to maximize efficiency during Fusion to ensure you reach the max level as desired, with as few gold and Kujata used for them. So I decided to do some research on leveling with Kujata, and share what I've found here.

Deity Wars - Gallery 4: Earth N Rank

Here are some of the cards from Deity Wars; this time of N Rank, Earth cards. Missing cards will be added to this gallery as I get them.

Deity Wars - Gallery 3: Hell N Rank

Here's the next gallery with some of Deity Wars' cards. This time, it's for N Ranked, Hell cards. Again, I believe there are some cards that I may be missing in this category at this time, due to unreleased cards that are reserved for release during events. In the event I come across those cards, I will update the gallery to include them as well.

20k Page Views!

Whoa, that was super quick. It doesn't feel like it's been that long since the site hit 10k page views, which shows how much the site has grown since then. I was planning on getting some artwork for 20k page views, since I saw it coming up, but I certainly didn't make it on time. XD In fact, I was worried about my post count dropping in September due to me having a job now, and a lot of my posts ended up getting delayed until today.

I really don't have much to offer to show my thanks at the moment due to my artist friends being busy lately, but also since I hadn't been able to work on many images as well. I DO have some pictures of Firion however, so enjoy some of the cute positions I've found him in. After all, he DOES want more attention.

As always, thank you for your support, whether if you come here often or just visiting!

Poll - Smartphone Games

Android 4.1 - Jelly Bean

A few days ago, my smartphone asked me if I wanted to update my Android OS from 4.0, AKA Ice Cream Sandwich, to 4.1 or Jelly Bean. My main concerns with upgrading is always the compatibility issues with software that I use, but I knew that Jelly Bean has been in development for a while already. Being that I was just asked to upgrade by my phone, I assumed that all major compatibility issues has been already ironed out, and offers better benefits for my Galaxy Nexus by upgrading. So I got it to check out what's new.

Deity Wars - Gallery 2: Heaven N Rank

I decided to do some more Deity Wars card gallery here since there seems to be some positive responses to the last one. I decided I'll go down the list, but broken down into parts. As a starter, I am going to do all the Heaven, N ranked cards and their evolution stages. I suppose I could also put the cards' stats and skills as well for completion's sake.

Review - Coin Dozer

Here's a casual time-waster, Coin Dozer for the iOS and Android. If you've already read my post about going to Dave and Busters for the first time, then you know that I have played an actual coin dozer game. So how good is this app in simulating the gameplay digitally?

Tapjoy - Well, first off, let me point out that I got this game off of Tapjoy from Dead Trigger to get some additional gold in-game. If any other app games you play uses Tapjoy, you can get Coin Dozer off of Tapjoy for whatever game you'd like. In fact, I got some gold for downloading and playing it, and some more for reaching level 4 as a second offer from Tapjoy.

Manual Labor

So I gave the same job that my temp agency gave me another try, and made sure to be ahead in the line to get myself in the job this time. It worked, and finally got to do some work officially finally.

The temporary agency that got me this job is Infiniti Employment Solutions in Orlando Florida. They did a much better job at finding me a job than Job Vantage... or rather, actually did something instead of just telling you to look up jobs online on their website, which really doesn't help much; at least not for me who doesn't have much job experience yet. Job Vantage is only worth checking out if there is a scheduled assembly by a company with job opportunities, I believe, so if you're looking for a job, check out what's on their schedule at their location, but other than that, they won't be of any help other than to provide a computer with internet. But considering you're reading this right now, that's hardly necessary for you, I'm sure.

Finally hired... ?

Recently, I finally got to go to a temporary agency to sign myself up for some temporary jobs to do. Quite a bit of paper work to do, with a lot of the same questions being asked repeatedly. But all in the hopes of finding and getting into some decent jobs, even if it's for some experience, I went ahead and signed up for any jobs for any hours, even with physical labor jobs. I'm not very picky, and seeing how hard it's been finding a job, anything would be good at this point.

Finally though, I get a call and was asked whether if I could do a job that's at 4:30 in the morning, loading up trucks. Although it was a short notice, given that the job was for the next morning of when they called, I had to take the opportunity to work somewhere. Of course, I was tired, but given my sleeping disorder, I probably wasn't going to get any decent sleep anyway.

List of Do Want

Considering that my last wishlist was made back in January, with some of the things in the list now obtained finally, I figured it's about time I updated the wishlist once again. Also, I'm adding 1/144 Huckebein Boxer plastic model to the list that should have been there from the beginning, but I had forgotten about this whole time until recently.

Heck, I should have just gotten this when I saw it in the store like... 4 years ago when I came down here to Florida for the first time. It was sitting in one of the stores in the mall, which either moved or has closed down since then, so the whereabouts of this model is unknown. In fact, it's sold out on a lot of websites, and Amazon.com has it listed for something over $400! When I saw it at the mall, it was right around $100, and I'm practically kicking myself for not having bought it when I saw it. I should have figured out some way of carrying that huge box with all my luggage at the airport, which was my main concern that got me to decide against buying it then.

Deity Wars Gallery 1 + Guild Wars

I was playing Deity Wars, and I wanted to look at some of the other cards that I don't have yet. Naturally, I decided to look on the internet, but unfortunately, there aren't that many pictures of the cards, or the game itself either. So I will be providing the internet with some of my screenshots in the meantime.

Also, I figured I should talk about how the game also launched its Guild Wars as well.

Review - Dead Trigger

I never thought that I would be playing a First Person Shooter on a mobile device. But after seeing Dead Trigger, I figured I'd give it a try and see how good it is. I mean, why not? The game is free now.

Happy First Anniversary!

Today is Vicki's birthday as well as the first anniversary of this site. I'm surprised at how far the site managed to grow in the first year, really. When I first started blogging, it was originally going to be my personal journal. But after a while, the desire to share my thoughts just grew beyond what major events occurred in my life to many other things in my interests, creating over a hundred pages of content on the site.

It feels great to write with an audience again, since I hadn't really written big posts like what I do on my blog for a year or two, after my main accounts at Gaia Online got banned. But really, I was better off getting banned as Gaia's community's number of people that I talked to shrunk smaller and smaller. My productivity became limited as more time was being spent on keeping up with Gaia's rapidly growing inflation and getting items. In hindsight, I wish I had gotten more artwork from the artists in the community that I could use here on the site now.

Pursuit and Discovery

My little brother recommended me the anime, 未来日記, Mirai Nikki, or Future Diary in English, so I went and checked it out. Turns out, it's a pretty interesting anime. I also watched Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Koe de Oshigoto!, and decided to start catching up on Naruto again, from where I left off, similarly to how I did with One Piece, since I finished watching Slayers. Although I never did find the OVA episodes of Slayers yet...

If you've seen Law of Ueki, then there's a similar theme here. God is hosting a game where the last remaining participant in the game will become the new God of the world. Except unlike Law of Ueki, Mirai Nikki has a much more darker and twisted theme, as you actually have to kill the opponent rather than simply knocking them unconscious. And the anime makes good use of that fact to have a stronger, driving force for the characters, not only to become god, but also to survive.

KoL - Zombie Slayer

The new seasonal challenge path is out, and it involves zombies! What could go wrong with modern gaming's most popular choice of enemies? ... Oh. Seaside Town is empty because of all the zombies... Oh, your familiars are all dead, except for the ones that are already dead... Oh, you ARE a zombie... Huh.

Review - Deity Wars + Tips

Here's another pseudo-card-game that was released maybe a month or so ago in the US, called Deity Wars. I was doing some research on Rage of Bahamut, and someone mentioned how this new game is very similar to Rage of Bahamut, except better. I still haven't played Rage of Bahamut, but considering how good Deity Wars seems to be, I will most likely be sticking with Deity Wars. The only other game in the genre I have experienced is Dark Summoner, so I will make several comparisons with that however.

Awesome Video Game Films

There are so many media out there on the internet, and a lot of them are pretty great. But there are some that I found to be pretty amazing that I wanted to point out. So here are three of my favorite live action, video game films with each of their first episodes.

Of course, they are video game related stuff, so it would most likely make sense if you are a gamer.

Review - Dark Summoner + Tips

After getting my smartphone, I felt the need to play some game that has a progressive aspect that I can play once in a while to build myself up. Naturally, a casual RPG title seemed appropriate, so I tried searching for RPG games that were available on Google Play. What I found wasn't really much of an RPG, but it was also a title that I kept seeing in ads on some of the other games I play. They were Rage of Bahamut and Dark Summoner. Both seemed to share similar concepts, and I decided to give Dark Summoner a try first, to see how it plays out.

Review - Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)

So it's been 3 weeks since I've gotten my Galaxy Nexus phone, and I figured I should give a report on my usage for my new phone that I have been waiting for for so long. It's been keeping me entertained, that's for sure.

Backlog - Bargain Bonanza Edition

So now that Steam's Summer Sales 2012 ended, I figured now would be a good time to update my backlog, now that it's expanded needlessly greater yet again. I'm going to have to figure something out to play through these faster.

I've definitely made some progress from the last backlog, but at the rate of me getting new games, I'm not getting enough done at the moment. >_>; I may have to completely drop Diablo III considering I haven't had much luck with profiting from it.

Promo - Romalian Codex

Recently, I was talking with a friend of mine about some things like what we do now, and I brought up this blog into the topic. So after giving him a link to this site, it seems like I have inspired him to start a blog of his own, as he has some opinions to share about the things that he has experienced much like myself.
His interests are in RPGs and anime, much like myself, but perhaps more in those specific fields than I, since I seem to have been expanding my interests to games of many other genre recently. He also uploads many videos on YouTube, doing things like the Top RPG VGM, where you can listen to his favorite tracks from many different Role Playing Games. So if RPGs and anime are your cup of tea, then you may want to check out his site, found here.

Slayers - Post Viewing Thoughts

I had finished watching all five seasons of Slayers finally. I certainly do feel like I missed out on something epic in my childhood. I knew the show existed, and I was interested, but just wasn't able to convince my mom to rent the tapes since I was already watching plenty of anime back then as well. Some of which are similar, but also doesn't quite compare to Slayers in terms of the events that occur. By that I mean, most of the other fantasy setting anime will have the protagonist grow from being an inexperienced fighter, to a competent combatant. Lina however, is already pretty strong from the start, and does grow in strength for sure, but growth was not a big factor in the story; at least not as much as the other fantasy anime goes.

Rumble Fighter - Return Bribes

I just got an E-mail from OGPlanet with some freebies that they're bribing me with to come back to play some Rumble Fighter. Certainly is nice of them to actually offer some Astro/Cash items that are actually permanent instead of those time activated things that only last for 30 days or something. The OGPlanet I knew back when I was still playing wouldn't do that, but maybe things have changed during my absence? There seems to be a lot more things in the game now too that I don't recognize either.

Pardus Rant - War in Artemis

Oyyy... This is like... what, the 5th war that the Federation has been in out of all 5 wars we've had on this server? I was thankful that we didn't have this 5th war during Christmas season like how we had the previous 2 years, but still, I was hoping that we can sit by the sidelines and watch a war between the Empire and Union for a change. This time, I'm not even in a fighter ship either, so I'm having to pick up the slack on traders while everyone else is out there, getting war medals.... or getting killed. Whichever. Regardless of me mostly staying within FHC, I've picked up a shield and packing some missiles in case I get attacked, or to participate in ambushes or something, if I'm available. It certainly does hinder my trading capabilities though with how much space these equipments take up.

Steam Summer Sale 2012!

Oh snap, Steam's Summer Sale has begun, and there are so many things on sale now! If you haven't seen some of my reviews for Steam games, particularly Terraria, Sequence, Just Cause 2, Gyromancer, Duke Nukem Forever, and Space Pirates And Zombies, now may be a good time to check them out, in case you find some of these at the best sale prices that you would find them in. I had plans on doing a review for Beat Hazard, Recettear, Chantelise, Bastion, Gratuitous Space Battles, Trine, and more, but it seems my schedule has been too busy for that at the moment.
It seems like they will put games up on even greater sales every 8 hours or so, and by community vote as well on what game should go on sale. Hooray for democracy? Well, if you see a game that you want, might as well vote for it to go on sale. Maybe it'll get that nice 75% off discount within a few hours after voting. If your wishlist is a decent size, you'll surely want to be keeping an eye on Steam until July 22nd, when the sale ends.

Well, I know when I'll be doing another Backlog Update post.

Edit: Well, it seems like Steam has also just added an achievement system for this sale as well, although a bit more community-based than it is about collecting newly added achievements within some Steam games. For all those achievement-hunters out there, some of these might be some easy things you can do to add more bragging rights to your Steam account. You can find the details on the right side, right below the poll for what game should go on sale next.

Feesh! - Firion 5

So just as I've wanted, here are some more pictures of Firion. This time on a 5 MegaPixel camera as opposed to 3. Not the 8.0 MP I wanted originally, but this should do for now.

Edit: It seems like uploading pictures directly from the phone using the Blogger App automatically resizes the pictures to the "Medium" size setting it seems. Sounds like a reasonable feature, but not sure if I like it entirely. I will re-upload them in the original size if I get some requests.

Review - Patapon

Patapon for the PlayStation Portable is a rhythm game... but not quite like the other rhythm games out there. It certainly has some RPG elements, but it is still very different from Sequence that I have reviewed before. So what makes this game special, and how does it fare against the other games out there?

Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Finally, my new phone arrived! I got the Samsung Galaxy Nexus off of Amazon at $49.99 as an existing Verizon member, and it is amazing so far. Glad I didn't get a 8 GB iPhone 4 at the same price at Best Buy, which the rest of my family did.

Making Money on Jokeroo

So I've had a link going to Jokeroo.com in my list of Cool places links for quite a while. During this time, they've undergone quite a few changes in how much they pay out to their users. At first, they started at 10 cents per reaction and Facebook likes you gave, up to 5 max per day each. Then, they reduced it to 2 cents for a while, and just recently, brought it back to 10 cents per reaction, but removed the Facebook like option it seems. Regardless, they also seem to have added another requirement for cashing out the money you have accumulated on your account by having to have contributed a picture or video that gets approved on Jokeroo. So I decided to upload a few things that I have slapped together real quick.
