Ultimate Backlog List

Placeholder image until I make a graphic for Backlogs.
Now that my DS is back in business again with my Krazy Glue repairs, I feel the need to update the backlog with the tweaks in placements, some new additions to the list.
Games I'm currently playing.
  1. Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks - First thing I started playing after my DS repair. Just finished the Forest Temple. Plan on breezing through this. Click here for the review.
  2. Star Ocean: Second Evolution - Played through the game twice, first as Claude, and second as Rena in Universe Mode. I'll probably call this finished after I complete the Maze of Trials and fight Iseria Queen and what not. I've already delved to floor 7 or so, so it's just a matter of not getting wiped out as much to not lose progress. >_< Click here for the review.
  3. Star Ocean: The Last Hope - This should be my top priority, but my difficulty in finding a good time to play console games is keeping this game at #3 in this list. Just recruited Meracle.
  4. Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 - Been playing for fun, and unlocking endings in arcade mode. Just a few more endings till I get them all... after I get the 2 DLC characters. I'm going to want to find a team that I want to specialize with soon though, since I intend on playing a few games online once I do. Trying to break away from my reliance on playing Ryu, since I know how to play him well in most of these Capcom fighters. >_> I do have to say that I'm liking how Spencer, Firebrand, X-23, Deadpool, Strider, Haggar, and Phoenix Wright play. I'd like to learn how to play with more characters though, like finding a good way to level up Frank West as well, which means learning how to play Tron better. >_>
  5. No More Heroes - Currently ranked #7 in the Assassin ranking thing. I'd like to spend more time on this game and breeze through this as well, if possible. We'll see.
  6. Kirby Mass Attack - I want to write a review for this game here, so I'll be playing it once in a while. Got to the second world. Might try to get gold medals and collect all the coins in each level if I'm up for playing the level over again or so. Click here for the review.
  7. Space Pirates And Zombies - Still in Chapter 4, working towards cleaning out the zombie infestations from all the galaxies, just because. I'm about halfway done with that anyway. Oh, and I'm playing around in the Arena with the Bounty Hunters too.
  8. Professor Layton and the Unwound Future - My puzzle needs will be supplied by this, I'm sure. Maybe to mentally exhaust myself to help me fall asleep faster. ... Sleeping disorders suck. Click here for the review.
  9. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles - One of my friends enjoy playing this game with me, so we've gone through the main levels. Just need to raise the rankings for a lot of the levels to unlock more bonus levels and stuff... Too bad he isn't very conservative with ammo, and doesn't aim for critical hits either.
Games I should be playing, but completely underwhelmed by the games above.
  1. League of Legends - My friend that I played with kind of stopped playing, so I haven't exactly had anyone to play this with in a long time. Whenever I can find the time, maybe I'll play a quick Co-op VS AI game to get the First Win of the Day bonus, but that's about it at the moment. If anyone's looking for a teammate, contact me.
  2. Guild Wars - Still need to finish Nightfall and Eye of the North. Yeah, I really haven't played it much since the last backlog in December.
  3. Dead Rising 2 - I'm at Day 3 of the game so far, desperately trying to level Chuck up and find Zombrex for Katey each day.
  4. Mass Effect - I've pretty much forgotten all the minor details in the game now, since I haven't played this in a while. I know I finished the 3 main objectives you get in the beginning though. That doesn't tell me how far I'm in the game though.
  5. Trine - Trying to find all the treasure chests in each level, at least, since the artifacts are nice to have.
  6. Dragon Quest Swords - Movement... so awkward. Haven't even gotten into a battle. @_@
  7. Fortune Street - It feels fun as a handheld, but on the console, being tied to the TV certainly makes it harder to spend time playing a board game by yourself and computers. Just... isn't particularly exciting. Wish you didn't have to unlock stuff by playing against computers so much.
Games that I've mostly completed, but have some minor stuff left to do, but isn't a high enough priority to do so, and created this crappy category of games that I may or may not go back to.
  1. Portal 2 - Got the ending in Co-op, but are there extra levels to play in Co-op? If so, that's why this game is in this section. Otherwise, I guess I'm done and could use an uninstall to open up some much-needed disk space. Need my buddy to help me confirm though.
  2. Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy - Finished most of the story mode. Maybe go and collect all the summons and equips, and then go through the labyrinth.
  3. Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale - Still unlocking other adventurers and dungeons. Might be close enough to doing so though, so this might get completed and removed from the list if so.
  4. Just Cause 2 - Completed the campaign, but there's more destruction to be had. Click here for the review.
  5. Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume - Still need 3rd ending. No progress since December's log.
  6. Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness - I... I found one of the PSP port additions... and lost interest. While I was pushing enemy levels higher, I reached the max level and unlocked the special level with Zetta in it... and the level 9999 monsters in there just... shat all over my level 1000 or so Laharl, and his underlings in turn 1. Maybe if I were to level them up more, while also leveling up their equipments, it wouldn't be so bad, but I feel that there is little left in the game for me to enjoy without some long dedication to the game... which frankly could be better spent on games above this one in the list.
  7. Terraria - Not that the game really has an end at all, but I do have all the end-game equips and such. Just that the exploration and building in the game is fun, and would like to make some more interesting things in it to share on the blog and such. Click here for the review.
Games that lost my interest, and have been on a long-term hold.
  1. Resident Evil 4 - Chapter 3 or 4. Been a while. No progress since last backlog.
  2. Donkey Kong Country: Returns - 2nd world. No progress since last backlog.
  3. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 - No progress. Very little interest.
  4. Frozen Synapse - Little progress, if anything. The concept is nice, but I wonder whether if the execution could have been better.
  5. Gratuitous Space Battles - No progress. S.P.A.Z. has been taking priority over this.
  6. Magicka - Not so much that I lost interest, but my friends I was playing with lost interest... and I really can't play this game by myself. >_>;;;
  7. Custom Robo Arena - No progress, mostly due to the DS being broken.
  8. Rune Factory - No progress, mostly due to the DS being broken. Might take a while before I get to this though for the games above.
  9. Pokemon White - Am I missing much from not playing this? Do I even want to bother getting Pokemon Black/White 2 at this point?
  10. Pokemon Soul Silver - Am I up for another Pokemon adventure? ... Maybe if there was a much different story, like with Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. This one's a remake of the old Silver version that I've played anyway. D=
Games that I own, but haven't started yet.
  1. Catherine - I got this game for Vicki since she was interested in the story, and it was $30 on Amazon, so I went ahead and grabbed it. I'd like to play this, but it'll have to wait until I go down the backlog a bit.
  2. Chantelise
  3. Bastion - New game added to the list. Got it on sale.
  4. Mass Effect 2
  5. Radiant Historia
  6. Megaman EXE
  7. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World - My friend hasn't returned this yet, nor do I have my GC memory card either. ... Does that matter? I forget.
And finally, games that have been removed from the list as "completed".
  1. 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors - Click here for the review.
  2. SequenceClick here for the review.
  3. Golden Sun: Dark Dawn - Click here for the review.
  4. Duke Nukem Forever - Here's the first review for the main campaign, and here's the second review for the DLC.
Now, the games in the completed section are those that I have been playing starting when I started this blog. As much as I'd love to have a complete list of games I've completed EVER, that would be absolutely bat shit crazy. It helps that I still own majority of the games I've played, but they're in a different house, at a different state, so I won't be able to even go through the list. What I CAN do is throw in games that I HAVE played that gets mentioned or suggested for games that I should play, review, and/or even just acknowledge the existence of, in the list if I have already played it. Let the popularity list roll! >_>
