It's the holiday season again, and although I haven't been able to cover all the holiday events that's been going on in several online games I play, I hope everyone is able to get what they want to achieve in them. Considering it's been a while since I've last done a Backlog, with new games to add to the list once again, I decided I should sort out this list to make it easier to see what games I need to work on, what I have available, and what I've finished that I haven't reviewed yet.
Not the most interesting post for my readers probably, but it helps me out a lot to do this. I'm sorry I couldn't do something bigger for Christmas though. >_> Plans have been falling through an awful lot when it came down to relying on others to helping me. Hopefully I can get the help I want when the time comes, or that I get plenty of time and inspiration to work on what I want done by myself.
Games I'm currently playing.
- Paper Mario: Sticker Star - I ended up picking this up through digital download for the free download for Donkey Kong. The game is pretty cool and makes good use of 3D. I'll be doing a review of this for sure whenever I finish. Currently at World 3-3.
- League of Legends - Started playing Normal games again with some people, finally. My main champs are... Ahri for AP mid, Akali for top, Kog'Maw for AD Carry bottom, Janna for Support bottom, Dr. Mundo for Jungle, and Leona for an Initiating Tank. Still getting used to the changes to Season 3 though. Looks like I'll be writing a guide for Kog'Maw first before working on any others at the moment, due to how much I've been playing with him lately.
- Guild Wars 2 - The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game was on sale for $45, so I figured it would be the best time to pick up the game. The world is so detailed and large, it's amazing. My Human Guardian is so far level 13 or so I think. I'm still getting used to the game, so I can't say too much yet, but so far it is looking great. Can't wait to start partying with friends.
- Kid Icarus: Uprising - Christmas gift. Very full of action, and I barely just started too. Lots of dialogue that I have trouble keeping up with while playing through the levels. Working on finding a weapon I like.
- Theatrythm: Final Fantasy - Christmas gift. I like music games, and since I enjoyed Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, as well as Final Fantasy, figured this would be good. Enjoying it so far, but wish there weren't so many songs left out for DLC. I mean, they're 99 cents each, and there's 52 DLC songs! That's more than the actual game's price! I don't know whether if I'll be spending my leftover Nintendo points on these DLCs or not.
- Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale - Finished Obsidian Tower, waiting to unlock the last dungeon.
- Star Ocean: The Last Hope - Finished my business on Aeos, headed to En II now.
- Catherine - I decided to start it since I was in a mood for puzzles, and the block-climbing certainly does get addicting for some reason.
- Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 - Looking to find a team to main. It'd be nice if I can work it around Vergil, who I should really learn how to play.
- Rumble Fighter - They're currently doing a daily log-in reward, so I've been hopping on to claim the freebies. Haven't opened any though, since I assume most of the contents will be timed items.
- Waveform - Interesting game, can be challenging in a similar way Bit.Trip.Beat is challenging. I'm in the second world I think?
- Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX - Bought it on the eShop since this is like... the only other Zelda game I haven't played yet, other than Skyward Sword. Haven't played it much yet though, but since I have it with me all the time, good chance it'll get played enough soon.
- Dead or Alive: Dimensions - Always wanted a Dead or Alive game ever since XBox's DoA2 I think. Can't believe how long it took to get one. It was either this or DoA5 on the PS3, but considering how infrequently I get to play console games, I decided to go for the 3DS game. I like how Ryu Hayabusa, Hayate, Hitomi, and some others play.
- Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume - Still on the 3rd run.
- No More Heroes - Currently ranked #7 in the Assassin ranking thing.
- Rusty Hearts - Frantz still level 25-ish.
- Guild Wars - Still need to finish Nightfall and Eye of the North
- Resident Evil 4 - I'm still in the castle somewhere. Can't play it right now though since Taco is borrowing it.
- Dead Rising 2 - I'm at Day 3 of the game so far, desperately trying to level Chuck up and find Zombrex for Katey each day.
- Mass Effect - I've pretty much forgotten all the minor details in the game now, since I haven't played this in a while. I know I finished the 3 main objectives you get in the beginning though. That doesn't tell me how far I'm in the game though.
- Trine - Trying to find all the treasure chests in each level, at least, since the artifacts are nice to have.
- Dragon Quest Swords - Haven't even gotten into a battle yet.
- Fortune Street - It feels fun as a handheld, but on the console, being tied to the TV certainly makes it harder to spend time playing a board game by yourself and computers. Just... isn't particularly exciting. Wish you didn't have to unlock stuff by playing against computers so much.
- Star Ocean: Second Evolution - Haven't played it much since I got stuck in the Maze of Trials. I ought to just finish it though... Click here for the review.
- Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy - Mostly exploring the Labyrinth right now.
- Just Cause 2 - Completed the campaign, but there's more destruction to be had. Click here for the review.
- Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles - Need to collect all files and raise my ranks in each level.
- Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness - Haven't touched it in a while.
- Terraria - Need more inspiration to build things. Click here for the review.
- Beat Hazard Ultra - Not really a game you can "complete", since you can play it as many times as you have songs on your computer. A game that I've been meaning to do a review on for quite a while.
- Donkey Kong Country: Returns - 2nd world. No progress since last backlog.
- Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 - No progress. Very little interest.
- Frozen Synapse - No progress.
- Gratuitous Space Battles - No progress.
- Magicka - Need help from friends.
- Custom Robo Arena - No progress.
- Rune Factory - No progress.
- Thief: Deadly Shadows
- Pokemon White - Got 3DS, but also got 3DS games to play. I'll get to this when I finish others.
- Pokemon Soul Silver - No progress.
- Kirby's Return to Dreamland - Christmas gift.
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution - New game to the list.
- Chantelise
- Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone
- A.R.E.S.
- Bastion
- Trine 2
- World of Goo
- Mass Effect 2
- Radiant Historia
- Megaman EXE
- Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World - Got my GC Memory Card. Could play this soon.
- Sam & Max 301 ~ 305
- Freedom Force
- DogFighter
- Everyday Shooter
- Flotilla
- Hydrophobia: Prophecy
- ORION: Dino Beatdown
