KoL - Lollipop Stick Farming

After fiddling around with some mechanics for this area, it appears to be clear that Disco Bandits are the best at farming for lollipop sticks to the point where you'd get them 90% of the time, each combat.

Basically, pickpocketing is your friend. With Item Drop Rates failing to help us here, getting a second shot at getting these sticks makes a huge difference. But when you get a third, fourth, or even more shots at getting it, it has increased the chances of me effectively getting a lollipop stick every adventure.

Edit: Update! Turns out Rave Steal will pretty much nab it 100% of the time. Disco Bandits definitely benefit the most in this area.

Double Edit: Seems like the newer monsters are stronger, and might have higher drop rates. In fact, the lolrus can drop 2, so best you use Olfaction on them to farm even more.

To the right are two items. Bling of the New Wave, which gives Disco Bandits a second chance at pickpocketing if the first attempt fails, and a V for Vivala mask. These are things that I currently have at my disposal for manipulating the drops, but I am managing to do this with 90% success rate without the V for Vivala mask. You will also need to have the Rave Dance Combos from the Disco Bandit Nemesis Quest, as one of the Rave Combos will allow you to force an item to drop from the monster.

When you have all these ready, simply go into combat, pickpocket twice, and if that fails, use your Rave Steal combo for a third chance at grabbing a lollipop stick. And if THAT fails, you can try getting a critical hit with the V for Vivala mask to steal the item from one of its critical hit effects. Of course, with how weak the enemies are, chances are that you'll kill it in a single hit, especially after damaging it with the Rave Combo earlier. The effects are randomized too, so probably isn't very helpful. Other than that, you have the normal drop rate for when you defeat the monster too, but... we already know how reliable that is.

It's also a good idea to raise your Monster Level to raise the lollipop monsters to have more HP. Since they're pretty weak to begin with, you may end up killing them while performing your Rave Combo without some +ML. If you plan on using the V for Vivala method, make sure to unequip (or equip a weak weapon) to deal minimal damage to get more chances at dealing a critical hit. Even then, you'll need LOTS of +ML to be able to get the lollipop sticks. Perhaps even consider getting negative effects that weaken you, like getting poisoned, but that seems like a desperate move for an item that we don't know what it does yet.

Either way, I hope you guys found this info helpful. Hopefully your Crimbo event activities will be as successful as mine will be.

Edit: After finding out that Rave Steal pretty much guarantees a drop from the monsters, perhaps I could suggest non-moxie classes to try pickpocketing via equipping a tiny black hole, using Divine crackers, or have the Bow Tie Bat steal one if you're a Pastamancer. If none of those are available for you, then you can always buy a llama lama gong from the mall to get the Form of...Bird! effect for 15 adventures each. Birdform will allow you to Look for Shiny Objects which allows you to pickpocket your enemy, and you can get a spleen item on top of that. Probably the most cost effective option, albeit still fairly weak in securing a lollipop stick from your target.
