Mamono Sweeper

I saw this being posted in the KoL chatrooms, and I thought it was an interesting twist to Minesweeper.

Mamono Sweeper AKA Monster Sweeper plays the same as Minesweeper, except with an element of RPG. Your objective is to defeat all monsters in the field, but in order to do so, you'll have to defeat the weaker enemies first to level up before you are strong enough to take on the stronger enemies.

If you don't know how to play Minesweeper, the simple explanation is that the number on the tile shows how many mines are adjacent to that tile, including diagonally. Using the numbers on the tile, you can identify exactly which tiles the mines are in. Once you've found them all (without blowing yourself up), you win.

In the case of Mamono Sweeper, the numbers instead show what the total level of enemies are adjacent to that tile instead, adding a new twist. You ARE allowed to make some mistakes, but your HP is pretty low to begin with. Taking risks may not be the best option of survival in either Minesweeper or Mamono Sweeper.

I figured I might as well share this with people since I already talked about games with different genres having an element of RPG in them as seen in Sequence and Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, so here's a new, fun pass time for you guys.
