I have always had a problem with games that are heavily luck-based. From my experience, they tend not to favor the player, and usually, there's very little that you can do about what the game rolls with its Random Number Generator. The sense of having a chance of win or loss is a good thing, but when the stakes are too high, and the situation of this risky gamble is forced upon you, the games tend to lose its fun IMO.

Building Up Bonuses
The past few weeks certainly have been slightly more active on the site lately, and even though I said that I would be doing more shorter posts, they seem to have maintained the same amount of content as before. Well, whatever works, I guess. Perhaps that's just my natural amount of work I put into my posts. Sometimes they feel like some of the essays I did in school, in terms of how they're written. It certainly isn't mind numbingly boring or anything since they're topics that I wanted to talk about anyway. Regardless, I wonder if I can break out of my essay-length posting habits? Have them be a once in a while thing, maybe?
Anyway, this post is going to be one of those personal progress posts again, since it's been a while since I did one.

Review - Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
After the krazy repairs I did on my DS Lite, I decided to pick up Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks in place of Skyward Sword which I missed out on, despite it releasing on my birthday. >_>; After having completed the game, here is my review for Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Review - Gyromancer
It's funny, I've talked several times about games of other genres that include RPG elements, and how much I enjoy them. Gyromancer is another game that I've played that combines a popular puzzle game with some RPG elements that I most certainly enjoyed as well. So what makes this game special, and why did it go unmentioned in this blog for so long?

Job Interview - The Limu Company
So one of the places that I went to in the past two weeks that I didn't mention in my previous post was a job interview. It was for a Japanese speaking customer service position at The Limu Company, and it sounded like a pretty interesting place to work at. I was told that they were going to be away, running events until the 14th and won't have the details on who they'll be hiring and what not until then. Maybe I'm just being too impatient, but I haven't gotten a response from them yet.

Unusually Busy
The past several weeks have been unusually busy for me. Mostly due to being dragged around places that are unplanned. We've been around places so much lately that I probably won't remember everything that happened, and each "adventure" may have been worth posting about as its own blog post, which I should really consider doing the next time it happens. Hopefully there will be enough to talk about in future "adventures".
