First Impressions from Guild Wars 2
I've been playing Guild Wars 2, well, a lot, lately. Got my Guardian above level 30, granting me access to all 10 of my skills now. I also made a Sylvari Mesmer as well to see what the game was like from a different perspective. I can honestly say that the game is very well polished, and the best part of Guild Wars 2 to me so far is the great sense of exploration. The world of Guild Wars has always been huge, but Guild Wars 2 takes it to a new level; hopping across gaps to reach higher footholds for scenic Vistas, fighting through a cave full of enemies to get Skill Points, completing the map to get major rewards, etc.

Building Up Bonuses
The past few weeks certainly have been slightly more active on the site lately, and even though I said that I would be doing more shorter posts, they seem to have maintained the same amount of content as before. Well, whatever works, I guess. Perhaps that's just my natural amount of work I put into my posts. Sometimes they feel like some of the essays I did in school, in terms of how they're written. It certainly isn't mind numbingly boring or anything since they're topics that I wanted to talk about anyway. Regardless, I wonder if I can break out of my essay-length posting habits? Have them be a once in a while thing, maybe?
Anyway, this post is going to be one of those personal progress posts again, since it's been a while since I did one.

Great Backlog Pile
As awesome as the finale of this year's sales go on Steam, I've been trying to cut down on purchases, mostly because I'm already loaded up on games at the moment. >_< Since I stopped doing that video game progress thing, I haven't really had a list of games that I'm working on for quite a while, and realized how big my backlog has become. I need to work on games I've started and finish them before I start playing new games now, even though I totally just started a bunch on Christmas...

More Holiday Activities, Finally!
Halfway into the month, and we finally get other games starting their holiday events. This time, Team Fortress 2 has an update with new items for Pyro and Engineer, as well as having Double Drop Rate week as well! Guild Wars is also starting their Wintersday event today as well. And Terraria's version 1.1.1 update is live as well, with some bug fixes from the huge 1.1 update and yet another new biome, Snow. =O
I don't have too many details myself on any of these events at the moment, other than what is already given on the pages provided above. I'll be sure to post about anything in detail when I get to the events myself.

Halloween Events 2011 Finale
So I hadn't really finished all the Halloween event stuff on all the games and stuff I hang out in, the last time I posted about this. Most things have come to a close now, so just a small update for now.
Team Fortress 2 - So I managed to take down Monoculus and reach the Bombnomicon without too much of a problem. Played most of the time as Scout for the mobility to get into the portals that Monoculus leaves more often, and to hunt down the gift boxes that show up randomly. ... Too bad I never found any gift boxes the whole time I played. D=
I've also considered staying in the Underworld to try to hunt some gift boxes there, but there were already people hogging all the health packs down there, that it would have just ended up killing both of us from... well, the constant damage for being in the Underworld. I wonder if Heavy has a better chance at surviving in the Underworld with his Sandvich, but getting into the portal with his slow movement, as well as getting around fast enough to grab the gift box first is kind of questionable, unless I use the Running Gloves of Urgency and take even more damage per second. ._.
The Bombnomicon is pretty interesting in that you blow up a unique, purple-y explosion when you die. Makes me wonder which effect would have dominance though; the Golden Wrench kill, or the Bombnomicon explosion. ... Oh, wait, according to the Wiki, the explosion is dominant over quite a bit of other effects, including the silent kill from Your Eternal Reward, at least, in the current update.
Guild Wars - So I decided to check out the major cities in Guild Wars to check out whether if Mad King Thorn was around. At first, he wasn't, so I went ahead and did one of the quests that gave me 50 Trick or Treat bags, and when I came to get my reward, he was there playing Rock Paper Scissors with people. I decided to hang around and participate, and he was also giving people more Trick or Treat bags for participating in each action you were supposed to do with emotes. In the end, we played a game similar to Simon Says with the similar concept using emotes, and before he left, he gave everyone a Reaper's Hood. Haven't decided which character to wear it on yet. I know that I'm probably not going to wear it on my Elementalist there. >_> And having it on the Dervish is kind of questionable. He already wears a hood.
There's my Elementalist using a Sparkler I got from the Chinese New Year's event or something. My Xunlai Storage is filled with a bunch of components for Warrior weapons for some reason, and I need to open up more space in there. Maybe I'll just sell them off to the merchant or something, since I kind of doubt I'd be using them any time soon. I'm thinking they'll be used for Heroes on my other characters, but that won't happen for a while.
Gaia Online - I don't even go on Gaia now, but Vicki wanted me to help her out with the event or something, partially because she didn't understand how the event worked, and because of how ... ridiculous it is. For someone who's not so item-driven, it is a huge hassle that isn't even fun; perhaps because the event is broken and poorly executed. I guess compared to some of the earlier years' events, it's better in that they didn't have any server issues while running this event. And honestly? I'm surprised, given how stupid and ridiculous these events are. The whole event is based off of spamming up the event forums. D=
I don't really care to explain this event, but for future reference for people who might not know much about it, here's a brief summary. It's a battle between Humans VS Werewolves, and you get to pick an action to start off with at level 1. Under the enemy's avatars in the main event forum, there is an Attack button to use your attack skills on. Using skills cost energy, and the only way to regain energy is to post in the main event forum. Aside from the energy limitation, if you are dead or have 0 health, you can't use skills either. You can heal yourself by posting in either the Humans' or Werewolves' home base forum, or get healed by an ally.
So naturally, being the main source of energy, the main event forum is filled with a huge amount of spammy BUMP posts. I found it funny that the Sticky thread regarding the forum's rules mentioned not to spam too. Makes me think that they have too many different departments within Gaia that don't communicate enough to know what the hell's going on in the site. >_> But that's not the only issue with this event. I have found quite a few grammatical errors in the event, and I'm talking about basic stuff too, like the difference between "You're" and "Your". There were other instances of grammar fail, but there were also issues with certain skills not working as described; namely skills where you have a chance of stealing the target's energy too. Of all the times I've used it, I don't think it ever gave me the energy it said it was supposed to give me. Just programming fail there, probably. Finally, the leveling up system is far from straightforward as well. It sounds like making kills is the only way to level, but not really. I leveled up mostly as a human by constantly spamming heals. Too bad I couldn't do that as a werewolf because werewolves don't get any healing skills until level 6, and they're crappy anyway. Add to that that there's not nearly enough people healing than there are people attacking, so finding people that aren't already dead is hard as it is. VERY poorly executed, but then again, my standards for quality have been a lot higher lately.
So that was pretty much my Halloween. I haven't finished the wings for Vicki yet either, unfortunately, because I can't figure out how to position the straps on the wings to hang off of her shoulders. I'm going to consult some people who might be more experienced at crafting to see if they have a solution to this before I finish up the wings.

Halloween Events 2011
I said in the previous post that I was only going to talk about one game per post now, but this post is more-so about what all the games I play seem to be doing for their Halloween event, and my thoughts about them for this year.
Kingdom of Loathing - This year's Halloween event is much like last year's Crimbo (Christmas) event, where it's in the clan dungeons, making it a more social, community cooperation event to get all the items for everyone participating. This time, it's a completely new dungeon instead of it being a part of Hobopolis like Elf Alley was. It takes place in the Haunted Sorority House. The girls of the sorority Sigma Lamda Upsilon Tau are all dressed up in sexy costumes... I guess.. ? but they all seem to be upset... and undead. They are all either one of the following: Zombie, Skeleton, Ghost, Werewolf, or Vampire. Defeating them can get you some unique items from them if the haunted house is spooky enough via closing the blackened windows, turning up the boombox that plays an assortment of spooky sound effects, and turning up the fog machine as well. Doing so will make them stronger, but by making them stronger, it unlocks more items for them to drop when defeated. Among them are some (awesome) grade booze, a potion that gives an effect that changes your avatar appearance into one of the 5 undeads, unique, high leveled equipments, and some others. Once all of the sexy, undead sorority girls have been slain, you can fight the Necbromancer, the boss, who will drop outfit pieces, a chef staff, the Necbronomicon skill book, and some consumables like most clan dungeon bosses.
I nearly missed out on all this content had I not found another clan to join, since our clan was .. also undead in that most people were inactive, and our leader was an automated bot that would farm every day, but not really be active either. Without the leader's authority to open the clan dungeon, there was no way to open this in our own clan, unfortunately. Thankfully though, Robot Porn invited me to participate in his clan dungeon, which allowed me to get all the items from this event. o_o And fairly quickly too, thanks to all the help he got from people with the vampire fangs from the Mr. Store.
Ragnarok Online - Well, our server has an event, but their event tends to cater more towards higher leveled characters it seems. I was able to do it, but it felt annoying doing it even with my level 94/50 Rogue. It didn't feel like it was particularly fun, unfortunately, but at least I did get a special backpack and wings from the quest. Not much else to say about it though, other than that the rates are currently 7/7/3 at the moment, apparently. Kind of doubtful I'd bother with RO during other Halloween events are going on.
Guild Wars - ... Honestly, I don't know if there's any special quests are going on right now. I haven't even really bothered to check. ._. I did notice that I was getting Trick or Treat bags from monster drops however. Apparently I've also been missing out on Festival Hats too, but.. not sure if I have the storage space for these things. But it IS a free hat, I guess.
League of Legends - I'm... not sure if this is a Halloween Event thing, or if it's because it's League of Legend's 2nd anniversary, but I seem to have some IP Boost active for 10 games. Also, Festive Fiddlesticks looks awesome IMO, and it's a Legendary skin, which is cool. But... yeah. I doubt I'd be buying any Riot Points until I get a job or something. D=
Team Fortress 2 - Well now, free items just for logging on, previous Halloween activities with the Horseless Headless Horseman, and a new one too? Feels like so much is going on, and I really need to get in on the action here. There's even a new comic to boot. I fought Monoculus briefly, but the eyes it shoots out have some pretty good splash damage. It's killed me quite easily, even though I've avoided any direct hits from it. ._. Also, the free items I got were the Seal Mask, and Imp Wings for the Pyro.
I haven't really gotten enough time to check out what other events there are going on, but I have a feeling this is all I'm going to get to experience this year, since I have been working on these feathered wings that I agreed to make for Vicki's costume. ._. Once they're done, I plan to post some pictures here, even though I don't think it's as good as I had hoped it would turn out.

The Escape - and the Failures
Wow, been playing a lot more 999. LOTS of stuff to talk about in the game, especially the spoilerific endings, but I still haven't heard from my readers whether if they care about spoilers or not. Maybe the next poll I put up will be about whether if you guys care to see spoilers on this blog or not.
Also, I'm considering adding more content on here, even if it's mundane like... how I want Pepsi to go on sale at the grocery stores cause I want some Pepsi, damnit. >_< And maybe mini-reviews of stuff, like games, hardware, even restaurants, and.. some other stuff. Whatever I feel like writing about, or just simply have comments about, I guess. But yeah, the current poll will help me get an idea of what type of stuff I could perhaps focus on. Feel free to leave a comment if the poll doesn't have a choice you're most interested in as well. But for now...
Kingdom of Loathing - Just finished my second Hardcore Fisting run, this time as a Turtle Tamer. I'm sure Accordion Thief is the more popular of the choices due to starting off with the accordion, especially for those that are very dependent on AT buffs. But I feel that I also have some dependency on TT buffs as well, particularly those for my familiar. I switch around my familiars around a lot in-run, so they need the weight boost from Empathy, and growth from Curiosity of Br'er Tarrypin. This... certainly does cost a lot of MP to keep active, along with all the AT buffs, as well as Leash of Linguini and other buffs when appropriate, but I also use Jingle Bells and get MP back from the Rogue Program, Stocking Mimic, and the Mini-Hipster often enough. If not, the Slimeling helps too, but Jingle doesn't work on it, so he's like my fallback source of MP. >_>
I'm currently in aftercore, preparing to enter the new clan dungeon for this Halloween. Apparently you can go through it faster if you have this month's Item of the Month, but I'm not entirely sure if I'm interested enough in being a vampire. There are perks, but it isn't anything I'm terribly in need for, especially not in Hardcore. Anyway, the clan dungeon hasn't been opened yet at our clan, so all I can do is prepare by leveling, I suppose.
Guild Wars - Finally got my pre-searing Ranger to level 20, getting the Legendary Defender of Ascalon title. I'm still hanging around in pre-searing, but whenever I'm ready, I intend on leaving pre-searing to play with Phoenik and Cranky Crab, cruising through Prophecies with our already-level-20 chars. Until then, I'm working on the Elementalist again, playing through Night Fall. Some of the missions are quite brutal and hard, especially if you play by yourself with only Heroes. ._. I'd like to get done with it quickly so I can work on Eye of the North already..
9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors - So yeah. Here are the endings that I got in order.
Coffin, Submarine, Axe, Knife, so far. I feel kind of spoiled in that I got Coffin first, and with what little knowledge of the game at the time, it sort of became an expectancy. Can't say anymore than that without spoiling too much, I suppose. Maybe I'll look into one of those boxes where the text can be hidden until you toggle it, for those who don't care about spoilers.
Ragnarok Online - The server I play on is having its 6th Birthday event right now, so I figured I should drop by and claim what easy prizes there are to have from it. Honestly, I haven't really been interested in RO due to how grindy the game can be, and how desperately I need zeny on there to get some decent equips to get some decent leveling done to begin with. @_@ I mean, seriously, my main character was my Crusader, until I found the Hill Winds area where I farm lots of drops for money now. And somehow, my Rogue hit level 94 yesterday, simply from farming in that area. My Crusader is still in the 80s I think.. Not sure what to say about it.
Other than these games, I haven't been playing much else, lately. Partially because I've been trying to work more on making this blog look better, I guess. I'm sure you've noticed some new features on the site like the poll on the side, or the RSS feed button. In the long run, I'd like to have a complete overhaul of the site's layout using completely HTML instead of relying on these templates offered by Blogger. I like how it looks and all, but I'd like to make my own site eventually.

Slight Improvements
Yay, finally got around to slapping on a half-assed banner for the blog. o_o Too bad it doesn't really blend as well with the background as I had hoped. Whatever, just gonna take my small steps for now. I'm trying to work up some more pictures and details for the next few posts, but looks like I'm going to have to play around more with taking screenshots and toying around with Photoshop some more.
I'm just glad I had some old pictures stored in my oooold Photobucket accounts, since I don't have a lot of my old pictures and photoshop projects from years ago. Maybe once I fix up Lappy or at least gain access to the contents of the harddrive or something, I'll be able to recover some more old stuff I made then. Until then, I'll just have to re-make some new images to work with.
Anyway, back to the usual programming for the time being.
Kingdom of Loathing - Finished my 6th Hardcore Oxygenarian run, completing my plexiglass equipment set.
Flashy. ... In... many ways, I guess. On top of that, I went ahead and grabbed three more trophies I had skipped out on. The Septuple Platinum from the Accordion Thief Nemesis Quest, the Hustling one where you beat Scratch Rackonteur at pool 23 times, and the Trophy Fish. I was going to try going down Fernswarthy's Basement to get another telescope upgrade, but being an Accordion Thief, and I was starting to need buffs at around 100 floors, I gave up for the time being since it looked like it would have either taken a bit too long and costly to pull off at the time. That, and I really wanted to get in as many Way of the Surprising Fist runs as I can before they move on to the next seasonal run. So that's what I did. Started my Way of the Surprising Fist run in Hardcore as an Accordion Thief again, since most people are saying it is cheaper, thus easier to do as an Accordion Thief. And cheaper is GOOD. D= It's so hard getting meat in this run; you only get 10-12 meat per combat usually. Or... at least I am, with my passive meat gain bonuses. I'm already level 10, but I need meat for the abridged dictionary to get to the Orc Chasm still. I may try to squeeze in at least one more Hardcore Fisting run after this one before Halloween.
Disgaea - Supposedly the final chapter of Etna mode. Enemy levels are around upper 100s, lower 200s now, so I'm working a bit more on getting better equips through item world. I miss having Laharl. >_>
Guild Wars - My pre-searing Ranger is now level 19, and halfway towards becoming level 20. Also been making some decent progress in Night Fall with my Elementalist. This campaign is longer than I expected it to be.. Been polishing up my skill build as well, getting the Searing Flames elite skill, after dying like a dozen times, ruining my Survivor title efforts. ._.;; Sucks, but.. my focus is to just finish these campaigns first. Also planning on working on my Paragon a bit to get more Paragon skills for my Heroes. Not sure when I'll get around to doing that though.
9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors - Taco claimed that this game was the "GREATEST" DS game and insisted that I play it right away, so.. I'm holding Disgaea off for now to check this game out. So far, it does a great job at keeping my interest, mostly with the story. In fact, 75% of the game is the story. You're reading the narration and dialogue more than interacting in the "escape" portions of the game. Nicely done "escape the room" type scenarios and puzzles. Definitely beats the crap out of playing those flash or iPhone app games where you escape the bathroom and stuff. I've only played a few hours of it so far, but I would recommend this game if you don't mind reading a lot. .. And if you don't mind grim, dark, survival type games. Oh, gotta appreciate how they're not afraid to outright swear in the dialogue too. .. A lot. Especially from Santa (Not Santa Clause, mind you. Santa Clause swearing all over the place can only be funny from some bad mall Santas. >_>). We'll see which ending I get on my first few tries.

Reminiscence
It's about time I start things off with what I used to do with my journals on Gaia Online. I missed keeping a log of all my progresses, as short as they are, to help me keep track of what I'm working on at the moment.
So lately, I've been playing PC games a lot more than anything else. Mostly things on Steam, and a few that aren't on Steam. Might as well start with the things on Steam first.
Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2: Beat'em. Skipped out on achievement whoring though. Was kind of in a rush to uninstall them to make room for other games on my C: drive. It was fun though. Good thing I have plenty of other games to keep me occupied while I wait for Episode 3. >_>
Frozen Synapse: I got this game for free thanks to Gamer who sent his extra copy to me. I finished the first two chapters with a few retries... I sort of got the hang of the game, but knowing the reaction times of certain units like how much faster the Shotgun user is compared to the Sniper, and the maximum range at which the Shotgun user would actually shoot at instead of just staring at the enemy while he shoots at him and stuff. @_@ Until I get used to him, I might just use him to camp doorways or something.
Gratuitous Space Battles: I got the Galactic Conquest DLC and it sure makes the game a lot more interesting. Having a campaign mode with limited resources and what not certainly adds a whole new element to the game as opposed to the main game where you are supplied enough resources for the whole fleet right before you go into combat. I mean, that's good that you get to send out a fully armed fleet and watch them kick ass, but a little build-up towards that isn't too bad IMO. ... Just a little. As long as it isn't too grindy.
League of Legends: Well, speaking of grindy.. LoL. It's nice that in-game, your Champions level up quickly and able to reach the max level of 18 in like 20 minutes. Challenging RTS with teamwork being a key factor. Now on the other hand, your Summoner level .. well, it isn't necessarily the worst case of grinding, but it's beginning to feel like I need to level up to the max level of 30 ASAP to gain advantage of some stat increases that I can get with runes and masteries. Well, I'm level 26 right now, so it shouldn't be too long before I hit level 30. Just that you need to dedicate half an hour to possibly a whole hour to play a game with no pauses nor interference.. >_<
Getting more into detail, just recently bought Akali and I am enjoying how she plays for sure. Been building her rune page as well so that the runes and the masteries will activate her passive skill for having 10 Attack Damage, giving her Spell Vamp, since the way I play her, I don't bother too much with getting items that increase her AD. I focus more on rushing Rylai's Scepter for the slow effect, maybe the Hextech Gunblade for more Spell Vamp and Life Steal while the active skill is pretty nice with the built-in exhaust. After that, Lich's Bane seems pretty good for increasing the burst damage she does, and by then, having an increased movement speed sure helps a lot too. Anyway, I'm still looking for more people to play with since Solo Queue can screw you over with leavers leaving your team in mid-game, and... what not.
Guild Wars: So I started playing Guild Wars again. o_o I really missed the game from several years back when I first got the first game. On top of that, I was able to get the Complete Collection with all 3 campaigns with the Eye of the North bonus campaign as well for .. well, $30 was it? Something like that, at Walmart. It was the only place that had a copy of it, and I'm not sure if they were supposed to be selling this either, since all the other places were trying to sell EotN separately, costing a lot more for the whole bundle, even on Steam. I'm content with the amount of money I saved by doing this. >_> I mean, even Amazon didn't have this in stock at the time.
So anyway, I have 8 characters now. Profecies characters are E/Me, Me/N, W/R.. I think?, and R/Mo in pre-searing for the Defender of Ascalon title. Factions characters are A/D and a Rt/N I think. Haven't played the Ritualist very much yet. And for Night Fall, a D/W, and a ... Paragon. I don't even know what secondary class I chose for that char. ._.'
What I've been doing most of the time is just doing the Daily Quest on my pre-searing Ranger/Monk, trying to get to max level 20 for that title. I'm level 14 now with Phoenik who's also going for the Defender of Ascalon title. Other than that, I'm just working on going through the campaign on more characters, mostly my Elementalist for some reason. Currently going through Night Fall, then plan on completing Eye of the North after that. I need to work on filling up my Hall of Monuments for Guild Wars 2 quickly. I still only have like 5 points since I haven't done much on EotN yet.
Just Cause 2: Holy crap, such a huge world with so many things to collect and destroy. @_@ Took me... 42 hours? To get 30% of the game done on Normal difficulty. It's definitely a fun game, and personally, it's my sandbox game of choice over Grand Theft Auto anyway. Senseless destruction FTW.
Magicka: In the middle of campaign with Phoenik and his friends. Haven't finished any campaigns yet, so.. it's still a new and learning experience for me. Also, playing solo sure can be hard for a newb. >_<
Mass Effect: Damn, I haven't touched this game in a while. Mostly because I don't want to expose Vicki to any spoilers, I guess, but still. I ... forget what mission I was on, in fact. I think I'm either on, or finished the 3 initial missions that you were given. Did a lot of side quests for some probably unneeded EXP and equips, since I am cruising through most of the combats anyway. Forgot what class I chose now though. The one with Combat and Biotics, I believe. This is a game that I really need to get back to whenever possible.. especially since I have Mass Effect 2 waiting in my Steam account. >_<
Portal 2: Whoo, great single player. o_o Valve sure knows how to tell stories in their FPS games. I think I got all the achievements in the single player as well. I just need to play the Co-op mode, but I've been waiting for Vicki to finish single player first. D= And that has been taking forever as it is. I can't even mention anything in the latter half of the game without spoiling her, and I really don't want to do that. @_@ I might go ahead and play Co-op with either Taco or Cranky Crab though.
Recettear: Well, I finished the campaign. Kinda wanted to check out all the dungeons and all the characters you can get in it, but I haven't really bothered to do much in them lately. Maybe I'll get around to it one day.
Spiral Knights: Played it. A bit too simple for my tastes. Sort of fun with friends, but when you get to building 3 star equips, forget it. D= You need to buy energy with cash to alchemize the stuff. Otherwise, you'd have to buy 3 star + equips from the marketplace for lots of crowns, and grinding for cash without getting any EXP for your already maxed out equips isn't fun. So.. I'm probably not gonna touch this anymore unless Steam does another Treasure Hunt/Summer Camp event with an achievement for this or something.
Team Fortress 2: o_o It's fun. Got some stuff. Need more stuff. Hats hats hats. <3
Terraria: So I got this game when Terraria was in version 1.04, and managed to get most stuff during then. Max health, molten equips and drops, etc. Then 1.05 came. Decided to make a new world more focused on building things, so I did. Started off with an apartment building that was off the floor so that I don't have to hear zombies knocking on the door every night. Basement includes obsidian generator, mushroom and herb gardens, and a Hellevator. To the west is a crappy Dirt Tower I made with the excess dirt I had, which is used to AFK farm Harpies using lava and stuff. Too bad the version 1.06 update changed the Harpies' AI so they don't go in the lava as easily as they did before. ._. At least the AFK farm for sharks at the ocean still works. And my current project in this world is a Castle in the Sky, on a floating island. It's a lot of work and resources, but it's a long-term project so I just do whatever I can when I have the time. Turning out okay so far. I'm sure I'll post screenshots here in the future.
Man, this is like... over a year's worth of updates from my last Gaia journal entry. I guess I can take a look at that once more to see if there's any updates I've missed. *Checks*
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume: Wow, I haven't touched this in a while either, but I finished my second run of the game. Started my 3rd to get the third ending, as well as the bad one, while I'm at it, I guess. But who knows when I'll get to that now with all that I'm juggling right now. >_<
The World Ends With You: I mentioned an added ending.. ? I don't think I ever got around to checking that out, really.. Been using a guide to help me get some pins that I missed out on, mostly due to the weird ways of evolving them, I guess. I also need to fight that ridiculous bonus boss as well, and with my Japanese version not having the Hollowed Leg, it's such a pain raising my stats with the fullness system getting in the way. >_<
Pokemon Platinum: I think Taco pushed me to finishing it. And by finishing it, the most I did was beat the Elite 4. I was disappointed by that crazy world. There wasn't much done with it other than flat exploration of a small area.
Pokemon Soul Silver: What gym am I in?
Pokemon White: What gym am I in? Oh, I JUST got to that huge city. And when Vicki was playing, she kept her DS on while she did other stuff in that city, and that repetitive BGM got... a bit annoying, and when I finally got there, I was just.. -_- Bleh. I'dno. I guess the BGM composers are running out of musical ideas for these new games.. D= They're just not very memorable compared to the first and second generation songs. Speaking of which, I have a VERY kickass medley of in mp3. I'd post it on here, but I think the filesize may me too big for me to host for everyone to listen to here. I guess just ask me if you're interested, I guess.
Mario Kart Wii: ... Well, being that I'm currently in Vicki's house, her save file could use some more stuff in Mario Kart Wii, since I don't have access to my save file at the moment anyway. Except no one seems to be interested anymore. D= Kinda disappointed considering how it has the best Wi-Fi experience the Wii has.
Resident Evil 4: So yeah. Gave up on playing through the series before I try this one out. And it's a lot more fun and action-y than the survival and puzzle aspect in the first game, which I also enjoy. Just that I don't enjoy having limited saves with the damned ink cartridges for the type writers. @_@ RE1 is yet another game where I have to dedicate several hours to to get the most out of my damned ink cartridges. Thankfully, not the case with RE4. I'm in Chapter 3 or 4 or something, I think. But then Taco was all, "Don't play RE4 until you play through RE: Darkside Chronicles!" and whatever. I don't care much for the suggestion since the game should explain itself well enough as I play through. Otherwise, I'd be spoiled of any surprises in the plot or something, probably. I've no clue. I just want to enjoy the damned game. ... But yeah. I haven't played since then since I haven't touched the Wii in a while other than for group parties and stuff. Taco's suggestion would be something to consider if I OWNED Darkside Chronicles too. >.> Which I don't.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles: Instead, I have this game. I want to collect all the files first, but it's hard. I was thinking of using a guide to find them all, but haven't gotten around to it. Maybe I'd play the Wii more often if there weren't kittens all over the place distracting me and it smelling like shit out there. Ugh. No wonder I don't bother playing the Wii around here much, which explains why I'm playing so many more PC games./offtopic
Infinite Space: Finished the main story. Haven't bothered too much with the bonus stuff. Gameplay got stale after a while, but the game's best selling point is the story anyway. I'd suggest it for anyone who likes Sci-Fi novels.
Oy. That covers what I left off of on Gaia.. and I'm STILL not done. @_@ I'm getting hungry now..
Anyway, I also got a PSP from Vicki last Christmas. Been playing that a lot more than my DS, which was to be expected, I guess. So here are some of the games I'm working on now.
Disgaea: I'm in Chapter 8. Just leveling stuff in the item worlds right now so that I can cruise through the story levels. Laharl is like.. level 27 now? Still a long way to go, I guess.
Patapon 1: Beat it.
Patapon 2: Beat it. Might collect some more ka-ching before I move onto Patapon 3.
Breath of Fire III: Got distracted from it with some other games. I'm still in McNeil's mansion, so I'm not very far in yet.
Dissidia Duodecim: Working on getting more equips and mastering abilities. Everyone's level 100 already, but.. ugh, the end-game stuff are just annoying more than anything, really. ._.; I'll only bother with this on my Bonus Day now.
Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core: Beat it, 100% missions, not.. much else left to do, really..
I have some other games, but they're just there for fun. Like Castlevania, Soul Calibur, Gradius, etc.
And... finishing off with some Kingdom of Loathing.
Wow. I got in some VERY ascendy-mood lately, so I've been doing lots of Hardcore runs to get lots of skills now. Got quite a bit of skills, having ascended 57 times now. The Valhalla Revamp sure does help with permanenting more skills too. So I've been getting a lot more stronger on there, and I was thinking of doing some more challenging stuff eventually, like Clan Dungeon challenges. I need some help for those though, and our clan has been pretty much dead aside from Taco and a few others.. Too bad I'm the one who ascended the most in our clan, I think. D= It just seems like ascending is the best way for me to play now since if I have EVERYTHING that I've gotten so far on KoL in aftercore, I get waaaaay too many adventures that it takes up a bit too much of my time, it feels like. So I keep ascending so that it's something that I can manage while making progress. Heck, I'm doing Hardcore Oxygenarian runs now. @_@ At least I'm getting the Plexiglass equipments now which is great.
Whew, glad that's done with. A year or two's worth of updates sure can get huge... I'm relieved to think that the next few that I'll do won't be as huge. In the meantime, I might find something else to talk about as well. Just wanted to get this done with.
