KoL - Avatar of Boris Strategies
So it's been a while since I've talked about Kingdom of Loathing, as well as the current Avatar of Boris runs, and I feel that there can be more to talk about the strategies involving skills gained in Avatar of Boris, and when they truly shine in the run. At first however, ascending as many times as you can in AoB is needed to really take advantage of having certain skills during the earlier quests in-run, and this mini-guide will help you get through AoB runs faster, hopefully.

S.P.A.Z. - And Bounty Hunters
I should have checked out what the update was earlier when I saw Steam update Space Pirates And Zombies on Tuesday. Turns out, they released an update for the game that now includes a... 4th.. ? Faction? The Bounty Hunters. I'm still in Chapter 4 though, so I don't know what influence they have in the game in earlier chapters, but bounty hunters are proving to be a neat addition to the game.

LoL - Akali: Early Game or No Game? Season 2 OUTDATED
It's been a while since I've gotten on League of Legends. In fact, my Akali build had no seal runes, since I used to play with a dodge build for fun before the dodge stat was removed. I ended up replacing them with Seals of Resilience for now, but I may grab some Seals of Vitality to help out more in late game, perhaps. But really though, I wanted to talk about what my current build is, in contrast to the most popular build out there for Akali, found here.

Terraria - The End?
Although this seems to be old news, it's something that I had just recently found out, and was... well, disappointed that there won't be any more additional content for Terraria anymore. The post where Redigit explains the reason for the discontinuation for updates on Terraria can be found here.
An additional explanation found here.
As a fan of Terraria, I look forward to the day when he designs a new game with what he has already learned with his experiences with Terraria. Much like many other game developers I follow, they all seem to have ideas and plans that they wish to implement on a game, but ones that can't be applied to their current games, so hopefully moving on to a new project will open new doors to greater games.

Forgone Hibernation
Things have been fairly slow lately. I haven't had much to say in a while, possibly because of having exhausted my available topics until I finish more games to either talk about them or review them here. However, due to a little accident, my DS Lite is out of commission until I get my hands on some super glue to fix a chipped piece back on. That means I won't be able to finish FFTA2 (although it still disinterests me at this point, pushing it lower in my priority), VP:Covenant of the Plume (3rd run for the 3rd ending), Rune Factory (which I would have liked to write an actual review of once I finished it), Pokemon (I was thinking about playing it some...), Custom Robo Arena, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (Top priority among DS games), Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, Kirby Mass Attack (Another review candidate), and some others.

The Second Evolution - First Run
I just finished my first play through of Star Ocean: Second Evolution, and felt that I should talk a bit about what I did, and talk spoilers, I guess. Spoilers will have warnings and are hidden under a toggle button, so this should be fairly spoiler free if you don't click any of the Spoiler buttons. With that said, here are the details.

Team Fortress 2 Mods
It's been a while since I've talked about Team Fortress 2. Heck, it's been a while since I've played Team Fortress 2 as well, since I've been keeping myself busy with a lot of other games lately that I've been pushing to finish for the sake of writing reviews and such on this blog. However, this TF2 mod caught my eye, and I'm curious as to how it plays out, particularly with more than 8 players. >_>

Top 5 - 2 Player VS Puzzle Games
One of the genres that I enjoy playing with friends is puzzle games. Usually the rules are simple enough for others to grasp, and competitive play is possible with some of them, which I will be focusing on in this Top 5 Ranking of my favorite 2 player VS puzzle games.

Promo - Solomon Shop
I have a good friend who's been going around buying toys, usually collectibles of some type from stores, and selling them off at Amazon or eBay after a while, especially after they stop manufacturing the goods. Among them were some Resident Evil Archive Series 1 figures, and I managed to get Chris Redfield in-box, and a zombie for Vicki.
His inventory changes a lot due to the limited quantity of things he finds at the stores, so it might be worth checking out once in a while to see if he gets anything that might interest you. He sold a Bender figure that I thought was pretty neat to have fairly recently as well.
The things usually in stock are Hotwheels cars, Gundam, Transformers, Zoids, other mecha figures, Marvel super hero goods, other action figures, masks, video game accessories, LEGOs, and more.
To see what he has in stock right now, click the link on his site, SolomonShop.org to see his inventory listing on Amazon.com.

Neighboring Foreign Nostalgia
I sure have been keeping myself busy, pumping out reviews and bringing in news that really interests me here on this blog. It certainly feels nice getting things done and being productive, which is one of the goals I've had for myself when I started this blog. Of course, while I am reaching a limit to my capabilities right now with my hard drive being too full to download and start new PC games until I get an external hard drive, and the flea infestation in the house shutting me up in my sanctuary is keeping me away from both the Wii and PS3, I am left with portable games like the DS and PSP games for now. It won't be long before I start talking about older games that I find worth mentioning. Wondering whether if I should attempt to write about them as a review or have a new category, like a Game Spotlight section perhaps. In the meantime, here's the latest poll results.
